About Us

CICOMER was founded with the vision to promote sustainable development in Honduras, under an approach of collaborative work to serve actors who are part of value chains of export products. Discovering the potential of collective impact to tackle deeply entrenched and complex social problems, we join efforts with other organizations in Honduras for projects, which include working with public and private sector and civil society. This has opened doors for new opportunities to align actions and avoid duplication of efforts.

Currently, we play an active role in facilitating information on new sustainability and resilience trends that challenge the traditional way of doing international business (exports), dealing with societal issues and taking care of the environment.

We are a group of professionals who have experience in different fields of work: as entrepreneurs, consultants, business owners and at government, academia and international development organizations; we bring an extensive national and international expertise on sustainable development; and moreover, we are household owners, citizens and consumers with a focus on becoming agents of change.
